All products are baked and decorated by myself in my self contained fully registered commercial kitchen which is routinely checked with the Whangārei District Council.

To order please ensure that you provide us with as much information as possible on hand to help with a speedy reply and accurate quote.

Things that help this process are below:

$$ – Cake budget
💜 – Specific embellishments , colours and themes you would like used to customize your cake to suit the recipient (photos are helpful, either of a cake that I have previously made or that you have spotted elsewhere before BUT no two cakes are ever made the same.

Please note that plagiarism is serious and as a cake artist I cannot and will not plagiarise the design and copy it exactly; I will add my own artistic interpretation to the design to make it a custom work of sugar art.

With all this information I can quote your order and inform you if the date is free.

Once a order is confirmed and a booking required a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. This needs to be made promptly to ensure your date is locked in, payment plans are available if previously discussed. If no deposit has been made or no payment plan put in place 1 week after booking your cake will be cancelled and the spot offered to the next in line.

There is a strict 50% refund policy of the total cake cost (being half the total cake order cost), unless otherwise determined by management.

Orders can be made by phone, text , private message or email. I try to check most of my messages daily however Wednesday to Sunday are extremely busy in the kitchen so don’t fret if you have had no reply after a few days, if after a week there is still no reply please resend as Facebook may have swallowed you’re message never to be seen again.

All orders that are booked and filled may be used in photos on social media AFTER the event or occasion the cake has been ordered for. If you do not wish the cake to be posted please let me know on collection or before.

Orders are booked and confirmed once deposit is made and then re-confirmed the Monday prior to collection to lock in pick up times and days.

It is at your own risk if you cancel the event or occasion and wish to move cake date, I may not be able to accommodate the new date and if that is the case the choice is yours to have the cake made on the original date or forfeit your deposit.

Meganlicious Cakes takes no responsibility for any damage caused to the cake once it has left the building, if in the unfortunate circumstance damage does occur contact me immediately and I will do my best to help remedy the situation, this may incur a charge if client is at fault

Tiered cakes are stacked with a cake board under each tier and support rods (4-8) in each cake, these are not edible and should be removed before consumption. Depending how tall the cake is a centre dowell will go through the cake.
